This two-tier cake was made for a Bridal Shower in May of 2007. The cake was inspired by the shower favors - jordan almonds and a bird in a handcrafted nest - and the marigold and rose centerpieces.
Sugar paste yellow flowers climb the cake while chocolate birds accent the tiers.
The cake topper features two love birds sitting in a chocolate nest.

ReplyDeleteThier desserts have become a holiday and birthday tradition and thier Greek holiday bread (tsoureki) is legendary. My in-laws buy it in bulk every time they visit us and take it back to Massachusetts.
